One-day trip to Hanase for BBQ and hiking

This is our first planned one-day trip to Hanaseki, a mountainous area deep in Kyoto.

We often focus on Kyoto's modern urban part and cultural aspects such as shrines and Buddhist temples. Still, it also retains a rich Japanese original landscape in many places. Due to lack of transportation, it is not easy to get to these places, so please take this opportunity to visit them.



The facility we will use this time is "Hanase Resort - Forest of Mountain Village Urban Exchange." They have a beautiful website, so please take a look at it. You can feel the purity of the river flowing nearby and the beauty of the surrounding mountains even from the pictures.

The River that runs through the site is beautiful, and the playground equipment in the facility also looks fun.

This time, the barbecue facility is rented out a bit off the beaten path, so there is no need to worry about other groups.

After the barbecue, we will go for a 2-hour stroll in the mountains, where some serious trails could take a whole day to walk, but since we are not a mountain climbing circle, we will keep it to light exercise for 2 hours.

Please refresh yourself by feeling the original Japanese landscape with us, which makes you want to say, "I didn't know there was such a place in Kyoto, and now it's 2021."

The participation fee includes transportation and a barbecue fee. (Of course, hiking is free.)

You can join this event with five thank you points instead of the participation fee.
