Enjoy a one-day early summer trip exploring the northern shores of Lake Biwa! ♪
Experience unique activities you wouldn’t normally do alone, such as flowing somen noodle scooping, irori-grilled iwana (char fish), and a scenic stroll through Makino Pickland!
Upon arriving in Makino, the first highlight of the trip is a leisurely stroll through Makino Pickland!
Enjoy a walk along the stunning Metasequoia tree-lined avenue, indulge in delicious gelato, try cherry picking, or explore the local farmers' market—there's something for everyone!
Since this will be free time, feel free to spend it however you like, based on your interests.

After exploring Makino Pickland, we will head to "Taraichi-tei."
This beautifully renovated 150-year-old traditional Japanese house offers a charming and authentic atmosphere.
The always kind and welcoming owner will be there to greet us (^_^).

Try to catch the noodles skillfully as they flow by (^_^)♪
Iwana (Char Fish) will be grilled over the irori (traditional hearth)!
The charcoal-grilled iwana has a deliciously smoky and crispy flavor—it's simply the best! ♪
In addition, we plan to prepare vegetable dishes using fresh produce purchased from the local market.
Conversations liven up around the irori (sunken hearth).

On the day, you can also enjoy dishes made with local ingredients purchased at the direct sales market!
The participation fee includes the following:
- Transportation.
- Flowing Somen Noodle Scooping.
- Charcoal-grilled iwana
This event will be held rain or shine.
You can join this event with six thank-you points instead of the participation fee.
Events are open only to club members.
You can view the meeting place after your login.
You can cancel your registration before 5/24.
Please pay the cancellation charge after it. The cancellation fee is not a penalty but is meant to partially compensate for the cost of food, location, and car reservations, so please pay regardless of the reason. If there is a cancellation without notice, the account will be suspended until the cancellation fee is paid. We appreciate your understanding.
Please be sure to notify us of cancellations via email if the cancellation deadline has passed. Circle members do not have the authority to approve cancellations, so cancellations communicated to friends within the circle will not be valid. If you are asked to relay a cancellation on someone's behalf, please decline and advise them to contact the circle directly via email to cancel.
Failure to pay the cancellation fee will result in temporary suspension of membership until the fee is paid.
